Dr Saeed Chaudhary, a Croydon-based GP, has spoken about the role of telehealth in the management of long-term conditions at this year’s NAPC Conference. During his presentation, Dr Chaudhary spoke about the benefits that telehealth has on patient satisfaction and its potential to drive efficiency savings within the NHS.
Dr Chaudhary began using Tunstall’s telehealth solutions as a means of reducing home visits and appointments and improving the quality of telephone triage and patient satisfaction. He explained that patients using the service expected improved independence, clinical support, and psychological health, as well as an improvement to their overall quality of life.
Dr Chaudhary is an enthusiastic advocate of telehealth technology and is the clinical lead for Telehealth Croydon, supervising telehealth implementation at three separate Croydon-based practices.
